The Senior Field Sales Manager is responsible for achieving businessobjectives, across the Specialty Sales Team by developing, implementing, andsubsequently monitoring strategic plans for the Specialty Sales Team. Manager will deliver increased Share ofRecommendation and Net Revenue for Mucinex across targeted RespiratorySpecialists such as physicians,nurse practitioners, physician assistants, office staff and other customers byleading a high performing sales team. Criticalresponsibilities include the timely recruitment, selection, and evaluation ofthe highest quality Sales Representatives. The Specialty Field Managerregularly provides ongoing sales direction and coaching to Sales Representativeswhile creating and maintaining an engaging team environment. Through frequentfield rides- trains, coaches, and develops representatives in best practicemethods to achieve goals and objectives. The Senior Field Manager is responsible for all operations andperformance of the Specialty sales team, including meeting HCP recommendation,NR, activity, budget goals. Manager isexpected to quickly recognize and respond to changing needs, regularlycommunicate with sales representatives, management team, sales leadership and cross-functionalcolleagues. Accomplishment of thesegoals must comply with all RB policies and procedures. Essential Job Functions Deliver incremental HCP recommendations and Net Revenue for Mucinex for appropriate patient types per outlined goals. Demonstrate health care industry acumen and keep pace with industry trends Conduct on-going field visits with each Senior Respiratory Specialist on a routine basis and complete Field Coaching Report following each field ride. Utilize effective coaching and counseling to improve SRS selling skills, product knowledge and overall effectiveness as a Representative in accordance with RB standards. Plan, implement and monitor SRS assignments, activities and projects to achieve RB objectives. Maintain budgetary control for sales team in compliance with RB and industry guidelines while optimizing ROI. Develop and implement strategic plans, complete with tools which track and measure achievement of sales team objectives in coordination with each SRS, create and implement a professional development plan. Provide on-going development support. Demonstrate agility through engagement with all levels of professional sales and marketing teams as well as with other business functions. Proficiently utilize all relevant business tools (including but not limited to Mobile Intelligence, Salesforce reporting, IMS data) to mine data, develop insights and implement strategic initiatives. Contribute to the management team by sharing best practices and delivering innovative ideas and solutions. Implement and monitor all field-based training. Lead sales team plan of action and national sales meetings. Evaluate Sales Representative's performance twice annually, in accordance with RB standards. Establish and maintain oral and written communication among all members of the sales team, RB personnel as well as with field sales leaders. Actively respond to management/leadership directives. Respond appropriately to changing conditions and individuals within the business in order to encourage and enhance professional working relationships. Ensure that Sales Representatives fully comply with terms and conditions of PDMA Guidelines, follow Good Marketing Practices and other industry protocols. Qualifications BS/BA Degree Required 2 years of Pharmaceutical/Medical/Healthcare Sales with demonstrated success in HCP selling/promotion. Demonstrated track record of exceeding objectives Ability to maximize sales team achievement and ensure compliance Desire to challenge oneself and others Pharmaceutical Sales Management Experience preferred but not required Ability to recruit, retain and develop highest quality staff; ability to manage turnover and vacancy process Record of positive relationship-management skills Position requires frequent overnight travel, between 3 and 4 nights weekly is expected Mobility preferred.
