Description JOB SUMMARY:
Oversee andmanage the development and performance of all sales activities in the division.Staff and direct a sales team and provide leadership towards the achievement ofmaximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketingarea and contribute to the development of training and educational programs forclients and Account Representatives. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Developbusiness plans and sales strategies for the market. Initiate and coordinatedevelopment of action plans to penetrate new markets. Providetimely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applicationssubmitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profitmargin. Developand implement marketing plans as needed. Maintainrecords of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by AccountRepresentatives. Createand conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses. Assist AccountRepresentatives in preparation of proposals and presentations. Conductone-on-one review with all Account Representatives to build more effectivecommunications, to understand training and development needs, and to provideinsight for the improvement of Account Executives sales and activityperformance. Developand mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training anddevelopment opportunities and performance management processes; build andmaintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriatelystaffed with required competencies.
Qualifications Education Bachelorsdegree. Relevant Work Experience Atleast 7 years of experience managing people, including hiring, developing,motivating and directing people in a sales management role. Additional Willingto travel at least 50% of the time for business purposes (within state and outof state). Experiencewith enterprise software solutions and large, complex organizations. Extensiveexperience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management. Strongunderstanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
