~ The Assistant Manager, Parts Sales works with the Senior Manager, Parts Sales to develop, implement and manage parts and accessory programs and performance standards in order to ensure a consistent, balanced package of offerings to support Hyundai parts and accessory sales. Works with program vendors to accomplish business goals.
~ Parts and Accessory Sales Activities:
~ Manage day-to-day operations for assigned programs and vendors.
~ Assist management with Wholesale program, including, but not limited to, the creation and launch of all related Hyundai Go Genuine Collision Conquest programs.
~ Coordinate Gray Market/Aftermarket/Counterfeit activity with MPA, vendor, consultant and Legal.
~ Update Accessory Resource Center weekly and ensure data integrity between databases.
~ Create and implement annual advertising plan.
~ Create and launch parts and accessory promotions, work with Parts Pricing staff to determine appropriate discount levels and strive to increase sales volume while maintaining acceptable profit margins. Work with Mobis to ensure partnership in execution. Communicate to, and with, Regions.
~ Analyze internal and industry data as needed to identify existing and new sales opportunities, create, coordinate and publish reports of parts and accessory sales to track and review performance and efficacy of various programs at national, region, district and dealer level.
~ Complete regular reporting for Accessories, Parts, SmartStock and Wholesale.
~ Administer Carlisle survey process, analyze data and publish and present results.
~ Update all department publications, including, but not limited to, Parts Policies and Procedures and related content on dealer facing resources/websites.
~ Leverage data analysis insights to create PowerPoint slides to be used by management for presentations and performance measurement.
~ Manage vendor program payments, purchase orders and scopes of work compliance, including monitoring, tracking, and reporting on program expenses versus budget, explaining variances for all assigned projects, and inputting into annual budget for department.
~ Review vendor proposals related to parts and accessory sales programs as needed and work with Purchasing and Legal departments to complete program documentation.
~ Document all department processes in order to create greater efficacy within department and with other Hyundai departments and vendors.
~ Other Responsibilities:
~ Complete ad hoc reporting and analysis as identified by management.
~ Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position, including interfacing with other departments on various projects dependent upon department needs.
~ Create, modify and maintain databases for specific programs and projects.
~ Oversee all program and vendor activities within the position responsibility.
~ Review and recommend all purchasing, contracts, budget, and billing services for vendor programs.
~ Must be a high school graduate
~ Bachelors degree preferred
~ Five to six years of automotive or related experience with emphasis on marketing and project management.
~ One to two years of supervisory experience desired.
~ Ability to develop, implement and manage national marketing plan and budget.
~ Communication skills to prepare and deliver formal presentations to executive management, Regions and Dealers.
~ Excellent writing skills to prepare proposals and business correspondence.
~ High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), Access, use of Adobe, QMF, AS400 and Basic SQL is desired.
~ Working experience utilizing a database management system.
~ Ability to travel to support parts sales activities as required.
